Why should I attend the Total Wedding Show and not the many other bridal shows out there?
We have been producing this show for 21 years. Every year new bridal shows will pop up and disappoint brides that attend – believe me, we hear from you!! We only accept quality, ethically run businesses, as we know your wedding is a VERY important day. Can my fiance (groom to be) come to the show?
WOW! We get this one a lot!! Sure they can come – we love grooms! In fact, it's best to attend the show together so you can make decisions together. This is not an intimidating bridal show for guys – the atmosphere is relaxed, casual and fun! Bring whoever you wish – parents, friends, members of the wedding party.
How many shows do you do a year?
We only put on The Total Wedding Show ONCE a year. We feel that quality is more important than quantity. All our efforts go into this show full time. This is the reason we are continuously told by brides and vendors that it is the best wedding show in the GTA.
What is the best day to come to the show?
Any day is good but we suggest coming a couple days if possible to get the most out of the show. One day attend with your fiance, maid of honor or friends to collect information and talk to vendors, go to the fashion show, try on some gowns and take it all in. After the first day go through all the information you collected making notes on what you have left to accomplish. The next day you can come back FREE (just see our show office before leaving – you'll need to show photo I.D), book some of your vendors (some offer great deals at the show) or revisit the booths that you might need more information.
Do we reserve a seat at the fashion show?
No, seating is on a first come basis. There is seating for 400 people but it is always standing room only – what can we say it's a great fashion show! Sit down 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time to get a seat. Grab a snack from the café and use that time to go through the information you've picked up. Each show is approximately 40 minutes long.
Is it a different fashion show everyday?
No, it is the same fashion show put on throughout the weekend.
Can I place orders and purchase at the show?
Definitely! That is the entire point of the show –saving you time and $$ by getting things done in one place. Vendors will be selling and taking orders at the show and will offer great deals available only at the show. Many couples do make initial deposits or sign confirmed contracts to secure their top choices at this event. Several companies take credit cards for deposits while others will accept personal checks. Our best advice? If you are not prepared to make a deposit, at least plan to book an appointment at the show to meet with your favorite vendors in a few days. The top vendors often find a year's worth of business booked at the show or within a few weeks of the show.
How much does it cost?
The cost of admission is $15 at the door. We accept cash only at the door. Remember Parking is FREE – that's a HUGE savings!! Fabulous daily fashion shows are FREE. PLUS $1 from every ticket purchased will be donated to The Toronto Humane Society.
